This page is addressed primarily to the official experts at the technical inspection offices. It is intended to make registration of MAN vehicles for transport of hazardous goods easier.
The MAN page on hazardous goods contains the "Permits" to 98/91/EC, ECE-R111 as well as "Data sheets" verifying continuous brake effect and rollover stability.
Under point "Compendium of laws" you will find links and downloads of the most important directives on the subject of dangerous goods.
Under point "Helpful hints" you will find information about the classes of dangerous goods and the special equipment of dangerous goods trucks which are described in Appendix 3 of the ADR permit as special equipment of ADR vehicles .
The detailed description will enable the expert to classify a vehicle in a simple way and to identify the necessary equipment.
